Media, PA – MLL - On a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the Indians and Rays played the back half of a home and away. The tribe came out of the blocks fast batting around in each of the first two innings. Indian’s Pitcher Jason Williams was able to keep the Rays offense at bay. But the Rays were not down for the count. They mounted a charge in the 3rd scoring 3 runs on three hits. The Rays inserted pitcher Jeremy Mack and he quieted the previously potent Indian’s bats – only allowing 1 run over 2 2/3 innings.

Indians relief pitching would have none of a Ray’s comeback Max Cummings and Philip Caruso gathered the team and were able to close out the Rays preserving the series sweep of the Ray’s.
