AL Game 35

Sposato Homes   14
Advocare CMA   12

Advocare came into the game riding a hot 7 game win streak. Sposato coming off a tough loss was trying to get back on the winning side. The game turned out to be one of the best offensive shows this year at the MLL complex. Clutch hitting on both sides put the defenses to the test.

Sposato posted 14 hits (6 multiple bases) against some strong pitching - Sam Burman, Liam Maguire, Pat O’Shea and Max Cummings led the Sposato bats .

Advocare threw up 11 hits - limited to two multiple base hits – Joe Little, Luke Buscaglia, and Blaise Penn leading the charge.

The lead changed hands several times was tied in the 6th – a 7th was necessary to decide the winner. Extra innings.

In the end it was the defense that made the difference - a very smooth back hand play at third by Max to Jack coving first to get the runner. Sammy closing out on the mound.

Good game…..
