Media, PA - On what would become a very chilly and windy night at Continental Stadium, the Red Sox pulled off a win in the bottom of the 6th that sent their fans home happy. The Red Sox had this game in control from the start leading 6-1 going into the top of the 6th inning but the Orioles had other ideas. In the 6th, the Orioles batted around plus 2 to score six runs and take the lead into the bottom of the inning. Tyler Debusschere led the way for the Orioles with four hits while Anna Maillie also added three of her own. Keeley Ruffin received the game ball from the Red Sox for her infield play and for collecting a single and a much needed RBI.

In the bottom of the 6th, Colin Eckels got the Red Sox going with a single and Cooper Bittle would eventually deliver the game winning hit to seal the victory. The final score was 8-7. It was a great game by both teams. The rematch happens on Saturday, May 3rd at 1PM. Tickets are on sale now!
