Media PA- Carman opened the season with solid pitching and clutch hitting to blank Moppert in the season opener for both teams. Nate Furman struck out 10 through 4 innings and Danny McLoughlin came in to record 6 quick outs to preserve the shutout. Reid Morfie led the team with an early hot bat- ripping a double and a triple with 5 rbi's Chris Arizin also ropped a double. Carman looks forward to the printers on Saturday.
