ML Game 15
Baker Printing 10
Campbell's Boathouse 0
On a cold evening for
baseball, the Baker bats heated up for 10 hits to defeat Campbell's in a 10-0
shutout. Starting pitcher Owen Evert cruised on the mound yeilding just 1 hit
and striking out 3 batters in 2 and 2/3 innings of work. Baker built a 4 nothing
lead through 2 innings before Evert belted a Grand Slam in the 3rd inning to
give Baker a 9-0 lead. Malcolm Williams came on relief and allowed just 1 hit.
In the bottom of the 4th inning, Dylan White singled home Williams for a
walk-off RBI to secure the 10-0 win.
Virbitsky, Evert, Edwards, and
Williams each had 2 hits for Baker. American League call up Sammy Burman walked
twice and scored 2 runs to go along with some solid defensive plays in the
field. Sam Holefelder and Christian Thack had the hits for Campbells.
