ML Game 31
Carman Insurance 3
Baker Printing 1
Media, Pa. – This battle turned out to be an instant
MLL classic. Chris Arizin for Carman and Brian Virbitsky for Baker matched
pitches, strike outs and scoreless innings through 4 complete. Owen Evert
greeted Nate Furman's 1st pitch in the 5th with a blast over the left center
fence for a Baker 1 - 0 lead. Nate returned the favor in the bottom of the 5th
to knot the game at 1. It stayed that way until the bottom of the 8th when Chris
Arizin blasted a walk-off 2 run shot to finish what he started on the bump, and
lift the underwriters to the hard fought victory.
Aidan Ring flashed
early leather in left field, Danny McLoughlin added 2 hits and Liam McDevitt was
on base twice for Carman. Trevor Kane was on base 4 times with 3 walks and a HBP
for the Printers.
Mike Keenan worked overtime and had a strong effort
behind the dish.
