Baker Printing defeated Hagan’s 13-5 to win their 4th championship in the past 5 years. After a scoreless 1st inning, Justin Potts got Hagan’s on the board with a solo home run to right field. In the bottom of the 2nd, Malcolm Williams blasted a solo home run to deep right center to tie the game at 1. After a couple of walks, Danny Juliana hit a ground ball scoring 2 more runs for Baker. Brian Virbitsky capped the scoring with a 3 run home run to left center to give Baker a 6-1 lead after 2 innings. In the top of the 3rd, Hagan’s added 2 runs thanks to a double by Corey Anderson. In the top of the 4th, Max Brown reached on 2 out single and Brage Davis hit a 2 run home run to cut the Baker lead to 6-5. However in the bottom of the 4th, Baker quickly responded as Brian Virbitsky blasted his 2nd home run of the day, a solo shot to left field. Owen Evert and Kevin Smith reached base on walks and scored by stealing home to give Baker a 9-5 lead after 4 innings. In the bottom of the 5th, Baker added 4 more insurance runs thanks to hits by Williams and Luke Edwards.

Owen Evert struck out 6 batters while allowing just 4 hits in 3 & 2/3 innings. Brian Virbitsky retired all 7 batters he faced including 4 K’s in relief of Evert.
