CARSON STEINBACH THROWS
A NO-HITTER!!!
In the opening night of the MLL American League,
Carson Steinbach tossed a No-Hitter. Eighteen batters couldn't locate the ball
on Monday, in Plush Mills' 6-0 victory over Pazulski Carpet & Tile.
Carson needed 84 pitches to
complete the no-hitter, striking out 12 batters, walking two, and two HBP’s,
while recording his momentous feat. He got Dylan Mitchell to strike out for the
final out of the game.
Five runs in the first three innings helped Plush
Mills beat Pazulski Carpet & Tile. Plush Mills had an RBI triple by Seamus
Rogers followed by a steal of home capped the three run first inning. Plush
Mills scored two more runs in the second inning on a RBI single by CJ Mayo and a
RBI walk by Matt Gorman. Good base running by Chris Dolan with two stolen bases,
including a steal of home completed the scoring for Plush Mills.
Pazulski Carpet & Tile had
four base runners all game. The first reached base on a walk in the third inning
with no-outs. After a steal of second, the base runner was caught stealing
third. Two more base runners reached in the fourth inning on a walk and a HBP,
both were stranded. The final base runner reached in the sixth inning on a HBP,
but was stranded on third to end the game.
