Diamondbacks and Red Sox players (and coaches) braved the cold, wind and rain last evening to play our first game of the season. The field held up well and the pitching machine delivered more consistently than expected, which was very helpful.

The D-Backs got off to a hot start in the first, scoring 3 in the first on 5 hits, then followed with 5 runs in the second on 7 hits. The Red Sox got on the board in the bottom of the inning, then the D-Backs finished the scoring with 1 more in the fourth on 2 hits.
