On a beautiful opening day the Patriot’s slugged their way to a 14-3 victory to start the season 2-0 for the first time since 1981. Patriots were led by Brian MacCurtain who had is 1st MLL home run, a 3 run shot to start the 1st inning. Brian also pitched 2 shutout inning to go along with also being 3-3 at the plate. Patriots also received strong hitting by Luke Cavanagh, Spencer Skowronek, Alex Pak and Max Cummings. Patriot relievers Justin Curran and Steven Woolery shut the game down for the Patriots to create euphoria in the streets.

Carman’s were led by Sean Bettenhausen who went 2-3 and pitched 3 solid innings and just missed hitting 2 out of the park. Jonathan Aman also pitch 2 strong inning for a good Moppert team who battled the whole game.
