NL Game 12
Cardinals (Concord Auto Body) 6
Rockies (John Gill, Realtor) 3
The Cardinals held on to beat
the Rockies 6 to 3 in a game that looked like late May, in temperature and
talent.
The Rockies had a RBI single from Jake Spitz in the
first stand up until the bottom of the 4th when the Cards got 3. The Cards added
3 more in the 5th and then held on for the 6-3 win.
The Redbirds were led by game
ball recipient Chris Dolan who pitches a scoreless 5th and robbed Daniel Lash of
a sure home run with an amazing catch in LF, 2 run games from Sean Gorman and
Joe Wood (who also pitched a 1-2-3 4th, a great defensive and offensive game
from AJ McQuade and a 2 strikeout out save with the bases loaded from Colin
Hefferan.
The Rockies had great all around games from Avi Patel,
Jake Spitz, Daniel Lash, Matt Sheppard and Michael Phillips
