The Orioles and the Mariners traded innings of solid pitching and great defense through the first 3 innings. The Mariners went into the top of the 4th inning with a very tight 4 to 3 lead. However, Andrew Ballard blew the game wide open with a Grand Slam for the Mariners, who never looked back after that. The Mariners finished the game victorious over a talented Orioles team with a score of 12 to 5.
