NL Game 24
Indians (New Spring Capital) 9 (Tie)
Rockies (John Gill, Realtor) 9
Media, PA – It doesn't happen
often in baseball but this one ended in a darkness shortened tie much to the
dismay of all of the players.
To say that Ben Ettien came to
play in this one would be an understatement. Ettien was huge at the plate
hitting an inside-the-ballpark home run in the first inning and a single in the
third. He also collected three RBI. Tristan Blair was also key a the dish with a
nice hit and an RBI. Ben Liebman pitched a strong game for the tribe striking
out three and letting up no earned runs.
Matthew Sheppard had a great
game for the Rockies with 2 hits and a run scored. Avi Patel started this game
on the mound for the Rockes and pitched a strong three innings, he also added a
hit. Dan Lash had a hit and pitched a great 4th inning to preserve the tie.
