NL Game 34
Rockies (John Gill, Realtor) 11 (Tie)
Indians (New
Spring Capital) 11
The Indians and Rockies have squared off twice this season but so far nothing has been decided. For the second time, the game ended in a tie, this time 11-11. Harry Maull was the perfect lead-off hitter reaching base three times (2 singles and a walk) and scoring three times for the Indians. Michael Piscopo also notched two hits and scored twice for the Indians.
Michael Phillips did his job at the top of the lineup for the Rockies as well reaching base all three times up (single and two walks) and scoring twice. Matt Sheppard had two singles and two runs scored for the Rockies.
It was a back-and-forth contest with the lead changing
hands a few times but ultimately, the sun got the upper hand on both teams as
the game ended after 4 in a draw.
