ML Playoff Game 10 – Championship Game 1

Baker held on to defeat a gritty Moppert squad by the score of 9-8 to win MLL's Major League championship for the 2nd consecutive year.

Mopperts offense was led by Sean Bettenhausen who singled and scored 3 runs reaching base all 4 times, John Aman 2-4 with a single and a triple and Sammy Burman 2-3 with a single and a double.

Bakers offense was led by Will Reger who picked up his first MLL home run yesterday, Jack Ryder 2-3 with a single and a homerun, Kevin Fernandes 2-3 with a double and a homerun and Kevin Smith 2-3 with a double and a home run.

On the mound Ivan Bienkowski pitched 4 innings and recorded all 12 of his outs by strikeout and Kevin Smith came in to pitch the 5th and 6 innings to help Baker secure the "W".

Special mention goes to Aaron Pagan who had to leave the game in an Ambulance after colliding head first with the left field wall at full speed. Thankfully Aaron has minor bruising and no concussion. We wish him a speedy recovery!
