Baker Printing downed Hagan Funeral Home 8 - 4 in a hard fought game. Baker was able to notch their second comeback victory on consecutive days to start the 2016 season.

Michael Costello led off the game for Hagan with a home run to center to give an early lead to the royal blue. Costello was a triple short of the cycle in the game, going 3 for 3. Joey Little also had a big game for Hagan with a two run homer and a superb pitching performance.

In a tough, nine-pitch at-bat, Will Reger delivered his second triple in as many games, knocking in two runs in the top of the sixth to give Baker the lead. Kelton Brunner had an RBI double to the left centerfield fence in the inning to round out the scoring for Baker.

MLL newcomer Mateo Malo is tearing up some good pitching in the early going this season. Malo went 4 for 4 again with two more doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored. He's 8 for 8 on the season.

Baker pitcher, Ivan Bienkowski had eight strikeouts in three full innings of work on the mound for Baker. Bienkowski was relieved by Jack Ryder who pitched very efficiently in his three innings yielding one run while throwing just 51 pitches. Ryder also chipped in with two hits and two runs in this game out of the leadoff spot for Baker.
