The Mariners and Rays kicked off the National League MLL 2016 slate with the Mariners reeling in a 10-1 victory.

Both teams saw midseason type defensive efforts on a cold night on Providence Road. Michael Phillips and Caleb Siever had good nights at the plate for the Rays and the Mariners saw multiple hit games from several players, including game ball recipient who had 2 RBI’s and pitched a 3K, scoreless 5th.
