The Indians defeated the Rockies 13-5 on Monday. The Indians took the lead in the bottom of the 1st with a run scored on an error. With the Rockies held scoreless through two innings, the Indians took advantage and scored three more in the 2nd inning to take a 4-0 lead.

The Rockies had a big 3rd inning scoring 4 runs after W. O'Donnell was removed from the game. The Indians took the lead for good scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. The Indians plated 7 more runs, but the Rockies could only manage to score 1 more. The final score was 13-5.

The Indians collected thirteen hits in the game and the Mets had five hits.
