An early lead helped
propel the Indians to victory over the Mets 10-1. The Indians scored three runs
in the top of the 1st, but the Mets battled back to score one in the bottom half
of the inning. The Indians scored two more in the top of the 2nd to give T.
Jauregui a comfortable 5 - 1 lead after two. The Mets were held scoreless for
the remainder of the game, thanks to some timely defensive plays.
The
Mets held the Indians scoreless in the 3rd and 4th inning, but the bats came
alive in the 5th inning when the Indians scored 4 runs. The game ended 10-1.
The Indians had three hits in the game and the Mets had two hits.
